Frequently asked questions

How much does staging cost?
The cost of staging each property is unique. Prices are based on the size of the home, the number of rooms needing staging. For us to provide you with the most accurate quote it is best to schedule a COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION. In most cases we will have pricing available for you within 24 hours of our consultation. In addition we also can provide a paid consultation for your clients who may want to take our expertise and use our notes to help improve their home without a formal stage prior to putting the home on the market. The price for this is $150.00 per hour and includes a written email report and to do list.
Do I get to choose the furnishings for my staging project?
This is a great question! The answer is no! During our consultation, we will discuss any specific design and style request you may have but the reason most people stage is so that the style of the home and the layout of the furnishings are placed in the optimum places to best show off the features of the home. That is what we are best at! It is a given that the majority of stages are done in neutral colors with pops of color and shine added with the accessories and art. The design style, if it had to have a name boarders a modern transitional style. As this style has been found to be the most appealing to the largest number of potential buyers. Of course in the right setting, we also use a more traditional look or strictly contemporary look based on the style of the home.
How long does it take to stage a home?
Again, all home are unique, but in the 300+ homes I have staged I have always been able to install all of the staging items in one day. My movers and I are usually at the property anywhere from 2-6 hours on the day of staging.
Do you do partial stages or stage homes in which the current owenrs are living?
Yes, we refer to this type of staging as a "redesign", due to the fact that in these cases we are usually mixing the owners current pieces with some of our pieces. In these cases a security deposit is collected since the pieces will be lived on during the time they are in the home and often times there are also aminals in the home. This will all be clarified in your staging proposal.
Can the staging furnishings be purchased by the new owners?
Yes, all furnishings and accessories used in all of our stagings are for sale. But please note all pieces are not always brand new as staging furniture is used repeatedly in various jobs, so all furnishings sold are "sold as is". Design services and consultations are also avaliable should you or you new buyer want new furnishings or assistantance in getting your new properties styled.

A FEW KIND WORDS FROM SATISIFIED CLIENTS ...

"I have to say I was reluctant to stage since our townhome was in great condition though empty. Once staged though, it looked fantastic. We were able to get a very favorable appraisal, got multiple offers on the first weekend and sold above our asking price. I seriously doubt whether all of those things would have happened if Kelley didn’t make our townhouse look so beautiful."

" I would like to Thank Nazy and Kgrace Interiors for the amazing job they did staging my new listing coming out this Friday, at 5034 Llano in Woodland Hills. Nazy went above and beyond the job of staging. She was 100% hands on helping with every detail involved just to get the home ready before it could even be staged. She truly turned an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan!!!"

"Kelley and her team are lifesavers! After our original stagers backed out on us at the last minute, Kelley came through in a pinch and did a spectacular job on our Brentwood condo! The furnishings were modern and accented the unit features perfectly, and her little touches made such a difference in making the home feel inviting and special. We got multiple offers right away and closed quickly at well above asking price. We couldn’t be more grateful."
